Finding, and then securing, the best legal talent, at any level, has never been easy - to do it properly takes time, focus, consistency, a dash of teamwork and, often, more than a little luck.
Get it wrong however and the consequences can be costly - wasted time and effort, damage to team morale, unhappy clients, not to mention the financial pain.
And, to add insult to injury, you are back to square one, still needing a good lawyer and with a stretched team - not good.
