Ho, ho, ho! Time for some free training...?

Well, it's that time of the year again, and as my Christmas gift to you all, I am running two free training webinars over the next couple of weeks.

Each of the two"taster sessions" which will be delivered over the Zoom platform, will last for one hour, details as follows:

"Managing your legal career, through COVID and beyond"- 8 December at 9.30am

  • A recent survey has shown that 41% of employees feel that their career has stalled during the pandemic, with a further 9% saying that they have regressed.

  • This "career freeze frame" can however be addressed, and now is the perfect time to get back on track, seize the initiative and take control of your own career progression.

  • We will be looking at some practical steps, how to avoid "rocking the boat", action planning, and moving from strategy to action.

"Jargon Busting - today's performance and client service models in practice"- 15 December at 2pm

  • O-Shaped? T-Shaped? The "Whole Lawyer"? Time to get under the bonnet of the latest competency models and look at what they mean for you.

  • I have been hearing a lot from lawyers lately, and at all levels, about how they are struggling to engage practically with the various and plentiful "competency models” very much in vogue at the moment.

  • So, to try and demystify it all, I will get behind the terminology to see how the underlying principles can be used to best effect in practice, to help deliver an improved client experience. I will touch on areas such as what clients are really looking for from their lawyers, where and how the magic happens and a handy day-to-day client service toolkit
